Pillow Dresses.

I found THIS post that then linked me to THIS post with the tutorial for how to make them.  I have seen these before and always wanted to make some.  These pillows are way too cute.  They must have been homemade.  If I made dresses with ours over here, we'd have a nice Buzz Lightyear and Superman shirt/dress.  Would you ever dress your girl in one of these?

HERE is a pattern for another type. I found the link to that from HERE.

There's a tutorial also at THIS blog.

Playful Play Doughs.

I have seen quite a variety of play doughs before, and I especially liked THESE Christmas themed ones. There's a vanilla, candy cane, gingerbread, and chocolate.  Let me know if you try them out!

Felt Roses.

Makes me think of Singing in the Rain and that Rose song.

There is a nice tutorial HERE for how to make felt flowers.  From this tutorial, some other people came up with their own creative spins on the idea.  HERE is a very cute and elegant one and also a clip, HERE is one on a yarn wreath, and HERE has one that uses fall colors.

Toilet Paper Decorations.

I have seen this idea many times before, but with different designs and colors.  It's one of those that I want to do, and then second guess if it is worth all the work for something so literally cheap.

In THIS post, she talks about it being her "Homage to Pregnancy" because is you haven't guessed it yet, it is made out of empty toilet paper rolls.

A tutorial and example of a similar design is HERE.

April Fool's Foods.

The only thing that I really did to my kids this year was freeze some cereal, milk, and spoons in bowls the night before and wait to see their reaction when I gave it to them in the morning.  It was pretty fun but I wished that I had the energy to do more.  I was looking up some fun ones and a lot of different food options came up.  THIS page has three different pages of options.

It got me thinking, I want to host a party where we eat lots of funny looking or tricky foods like these.  They remind me of the spaghetti and meatballs cake I made for my son's party.  I'll have to post that in another one.   Tell me what you think.

This is made with candies, ice cream and sauce, and peanut butter logs (what the heck is that? I wondered if it was butterfingers with the chocolate taken off.) I saw that someone in the comments had used coconut donuts instead for the faux chicken.

This is also a sweet candyish dessert dish

I saw a few variations of this, and have always planned on doing it, but I guess there's always next year.  This is meatloaf and mashed potatoes as frosting on top.  I also saw this as a layered cake or pie idea.

This is tootsie rolls, caramel squares, yellow m&m's and I think marshmallow or something.

Laffy taffy(they used air heads), sugar wafer cookies covered in peanut butter and cornflakes, and strawberry jam.

Breadstick dough or I've also seen it done with sugar cookie dough

All dried fruit, nuts, and fruit roll ups. I think this one is awesome!
